Before I travel, I should get a hat to protect my face and neck from the sun.

Since I managed to lose 2 Uniqlo baseball caps, this time I'll try procuring a bucket hat, which should also protect my neck from the sun.

When I tried the Uniqlo bucket hat at the store, I saw a middle-aged Asian dad in the mirror 🤔🪣. I could imagine myself in incredible detail squinting under the sunlight over one of the Wonders of the World, discovering the camera button on the iPad is exactly where it was last time.

Well, as I see it, I could either look middle-aged through my clothes with the bucket hat on, or look middle-aged through my skin with the bucket hat off. I'm going to look middle-aged eventually anyway, so I'll keep it and embrace my bucket hat destiny.

Update: I managed to lose the Uniqlo bucket hat since publishing this post. Maybe I'll get another one.
